Get ready, Thomasville—something BIG is coming!
The Thomasville R.E.A.D. Foundation and the Rotary Club of Thomasville proudly present the Inaugural Thomasville Ritz Music Festival—a vibrant celebration of music, community, and purpose. This exciting festival will feature an incredible variety of performances—Country, R&B, Country Rock, Pop, Southern Soul Funk, and music from some of the best DJs in the Southeast.
This isn’t just a concert, it’s a movement.
Every ticket, every sponsorship, every beat of music fuels the mission the Thomasville R.E.A.D. Foundation literacy initiative, supports life-changing youth programs, and unites the community for a cause that matters.
OUR CAUSE: WHY R.E.A.D. MATTERS
In Georgia, only 38% of 3rd graders scored at Proficient or above in English Language Arts in the 2024 Georgia Milestones test—meaning 62% are falling behind.
The R.E.A.D. Initiative, launched in 2022 by Thomasville Thomas County Sports Academy. The program provides an evidence-based, intensive phonics reading program for students below grade level.
Through targeted phonics instruction, we help students gain the skills needed to achieve accuracy, fluency, and comprehension, unlocking a lifetime of learning. The Thomasville Read Foundation is carrying the program forward starting with this music festival fundraiser.
